This year, Sips & Spirits is more than our annual fundraiser—it is a celebration of the New Orleans African American Museum's 30th Anniversary and a tribute to the people, partnerships, and community that have made this institution possible.
For one unforgettable evening, NOAAM's historic Tremé campus will come alive with music, art, storytelling, culinary experiences, cocktails, and celebration as we honor three decades of preserving Black history and imagine the future we are building together.
Throughout the evening, guests will experience the museum in new ways while helping support exhibitions, educational programs, preservation of our historic campus, and community engagement that ensures these stories continue for generations to come.

“I’ve served on many Boards of Directors & attended countless fundraisers over the years for those organizations on whose Boards I served, as well as many others. The 2023 Sips N Spirits, annual NOAAM fundraiser, was hands down one of the best I’ve ever attended. The food & music were amazing, as always, but more importantly, the warm positive energy of all who attended was inspiring, to say the least! Everyone seemed energized about supporting our ever-improving, ever-growing NOAAM & its stellar, cutting-edge programming. The crowd that attended spanned all ages & ethnic groups in New Orleans, a truly supported community event.
