Join us for SATURDAYS @ NOAAM, a free day of art, culture, and community made possible through The Helis Foundation's Art for All initiative. Throughout June, we celebrated Freedom in Practice with programming honoring Black Music Month, featuring June Sonic Steward DJ Raj Smoove, a conversation with Zay of Saint Michele Atelier and Cameron-Mitchell Ware, and the launch of Camille Barnett's Afrofuture Lab photography residency documenting the SATURDAYS community.
Together, we explored how music, art, fashion, and storytelling have long served as expressions of freedom, creativity, and cultural resilience. As we close this chapter, we look forward to our next seasonal theme, Food as Culture, celebrating the traditions and connections that continue to nourish Black communities.
